Awesome climbing bag! The quality, design, and comfort are outstanding, and it’s quickly become my go-to bag for the gym. My son loves his as well, and it’s been perfect for keeping his climbing gear organized. You can tell Mega Beta put a lot of thought into this product. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-made, functional climbing bag.
Incredibly well designed bag! Not only is there a main compartment to store your climbing shoes, but a slot on the inside of the pack I use for my phone and wallet plus two more pouches on the front. Love the colors and materials and stoked every time I get to use it
Well designed boulder bag, with really study materials. i love how it looks too with the vibrant colours. The secret pocket to keep my phone, small wallet, keys at the back is a nice touch. For bouldering, i can pack two pairs of shoes - for me and my partner (EU 46 and EU 36). For sport climbing, i can fit my shoes, harness and belay devices - partner is on his own and also has to pack my chalk bag for me. It can’t fit everything, but actually packs a punch with the sturdy, stretchy material and strong zip. in the last pic i’ve closed the bag over the two pairs of shoes, it closes easily with a bit of extra room for snacks (if you’re good/strong at packing things down). A great bouldering bag, also looks nice as a day bag for a short day out!
I really appreciate the thoughtful design of this bag with the different compartments that help keep my items organized and clean from chalk. Very spacious too as I’m able to hold everything (I’ve even been able to fit 2 pair of shoes and my chalk bag in the main compartment) smell proof liner really works but you could also put some shoe deodorizers in there if you want! I used to clip my shoes on my old bag and would have to throw my bag in the trunk so that the smell wouldn’t be too bad. Now I can actually keep my bag in the. front with me which is super great.
I got to try the sling bag a couple of times during my time in Squamish last month. My first impressions were the following: First of all, I loved the colors. Bright and cheery. The materials were light and were very well thought out. The compartments were also functional and handy. I liked that it could hold my Organic chalk bucket and one pair of climbing shoes, as well as snacks and my camcorder.
I personally love to pack a lot to the crag because I’m an overpacker but this sling bag forces me to pack light, while still being able to carry all my climbing gear necessities.
The perfect bag for a session in the climbing gym. Fits my climbing shoes and chalk bucket plus other small accessories and I can easily clip my water bottle to the outside. it is definitely made really well with great materials! My only point of improvement would be to make it ever so slightly bigger so that it can more easily fit a pair of shoes and a chalk bucket. The current size does easily fit shoes and a chalk bag.

I got my sling bag a little bit ago and have had the chance to use both for climbing and for other outdoor experiences like hiking. I love the rust color matched with the sage pocket. It's also very comfortable and fits everything you'd need for bouldering (I've managed to fit 2 pairs of shoes and a chalk bag in the main pocket). Overall very happy with bag!
Honestly, I didn't expect myself to like this bag as much as I do. The color combo is super clean in person, even better than the pics. It’s got that lowkey outdoorsy vibe, but also minimalist and clean.
Size-wise, it hits that sweet spot—big enough for the essentials (phone, keys, climbing shoes, a little film camera), but not too big where it gets heavy. The strap is comfy, the zippers feel solid, and it just fits into everyday life. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something functional but still need some style.
My husband and I hate wearing backpacks on multi pitch routes and have been trying to find a solution to minimize what we carry up a wall. This sling bag with the stabilizer strap has solved all of our problems!
It's secure, comfortable, big enough to store necessary items, and doesn't get in the way of our climbing! For reference, we were able to fit 2 jackets, our phones, and snacks in this sling bag during a long multi pitch climb in Squamish!
Highly recommend ditching the backpacks when you can and wearing this sling bag instead!

I love my mega beta sling bag! It fits all of my climbing essentials so that I can just grab it and head to the gym easily. I love that it keeps my shoes from smelling with the carbon insert so I can just leave them in the bag. It’s also really cute so I get a lot of compliments on this bag too. Highly recommend!
The Megabeta bag has been great to use for my me and my girlfriend! It’s lightweight, versatile, and carries everything I need for a casual bouldering day. The ventilation keeps my shoes from smelling and the sling strap makes for a better front-packing experience than a standard backpack
Love my megabeta climbing bag! I highly recommend it. I use it everytime I go to the gym. It fits everything I need. Colors are great and it is comfortable to carry. I have been using it a few months now and it still looks in amazing condition. It is very durable and has no weird smells from my shoes being in there. Now I need the new bag! 😃
This is the perfect size bag to fit essential climbing gear and a pair of shoes. I have a large gear bag for longer gym sessions but it’s nice having this smaller bag for quick session and it will be perfect for my business trips so i can actually have all the gear I want.
I was lucky enough to get a hold of a sling bag before my trip to New Zealand. It’s now become a travel staple of mine. It’s compact, comfortable to wear, and allows me to travel with a basic gym climbing kit (shoes, chalk, harness, belay device, carabiner, and a brush). Gone are the days of haphazardly throwing my gear into my suitcase and clipping my shoes to my carry-on. I can also now walk around airports and use public transit without stinky shoes!
This bag is perfect for any activity! It was the perfect bag to hold all my gear on my most recent camping trip and was a pleasure to hike with!
