The 8L Sling Bag: Same Great Design, Just More of It
Share
When I first designed the original Megabeta Sling Bag, it was to solve a very specific problem.
I wanted to bike to and from the climbing gym without smelling like my shoes. We designed something compact, organized, and easy to throw over a shoulder that still handled sweaty gear and didn't require extra steps.
Since launch, the feedback’s been awesome, and consistent.
“I love it… I just wish it were slightly bigger so I could fit my harness or Nalgene.”
So, here we are. Meet the 8L Sling Bag.
What’s New
The 8L Sling keeps everything that made the original special: the odor-filtering liner, recycled materials, and minimalist organization.
Now with 15% more volume and a slightly wider base for better balance.
It's just big enough for a harness, a 1L water bottle, or that post-session burrito (just don’t smash it in too tightly).

We didn’t change the soul of the bag. We just gave it a little more breathing room.
